The hot Willow Springs, IL to North Bay, CA UPS Z9 train waste no time racing through Cherokee Canyon. Here, this hotshot is running on main #1, generally used by eastbounds, to get around another UPS Z-train (Z WSPLAC7) and a 16,000 ft combo train. Even when it's not UPS Peak Season, the North Bay trains are still treated like it's running on Christmas Eve.
