| De-Evolution Series: The ES40DC engines (upgraded to ES44DC between 2013 & 2014) were the first "Evolution Series" locomotives purchased by Norfolk Southern beginning in 2004. They have been well-used since, with some showing more wear and tear than others. Behind the leader are NS 9684 (C44-9W) and NS 1155 (SD70ACe). |
