| CSXT 4563, a rebuilt EMD SD70MAC, leads Q627 westbound by the flood control bridge and gates at Lock 10 on a gorgeous late winter afternoon. The gates are normally in the down position during warmer months but were raised for the winter to prevent ice jams and allow for crucial maintenance to be done on the Lock. |
