| An overpowered 514 with an unusual six-axle helper makes its way east in the early afternoon sun, crossing the impressive structure over the Groundhog River at MP 50 on the Kap Sub. This photo looked a lot different a year ago with the unique adjacent highway bridge (steel truss and approaching 80 years old) on the north side of the tracks being removed in favor of a completely new structure with a concrete deck with an open barrier railing, no longer visible from this angle. |
