A northbound rail train fights the 1.1% grade into Hatton. The train is working north towards the next crew change point at Heavener, OK, 70 miles ahead. The train is only using one of their GE's and is climbing to the 1621 feet summit at Rich Mountain that is still a 50 miles ahead. The train has been climbing from 314 feet around Wade, AR, 35 miles behind them, and has only gotten to 1141 feet so far here at Hatton. Its crazy the amount of mountain they climb on this railroad.
