| A northbound empty grain train has been struggling up the 1.5% grade out of Anderson the past 25 minutes to get 9 miles. Only 1 unit is being used as this train passes thru Goodman on the KCS Heavener Sub. The next crew change is at Pittsburg, KS, still 55 miles ahead. In a couple miles the train will use the long siding at McElhany to get around a loaded southbound grain train waiting on the main. |
