The Elgin, Joliet & Southern (EJ&S) is a WATCO owned outfit, based in Crest Hill, IL. WAMX GP35L #3509 is making a delivery to BL Duke Recycling in Joliet. 3509 was built for the Western Pacific in 1965. It wears a "Pacific Sun Railroad" logo, another WATCO outfit that 3509 worked for until 2020.
