An ex-Erie Lackawanna SDP45, an ex-Penn Central U30B, and a Precision National GP35 lead and eastbound trail around Wilt’s Curve in Steel City, Pennsylvania. Just over two years into Conrail, a blue leader was still considered to be good fortune, but it was very unusual for it to be so dirty.
