    Remarks & Notes
FEC GP38-2 511 trails on the rear of an All Aboard Florida work train heading back north to tie down for the evening. Evidence of Brightline’s Orlando expansion is evident with new concrete ties next to the current main. FEC 511 is the final unit on the roster retaining the "candy cane" stripes on the front of the unit. At the same time, it is also one of three GP38-2s retaining the Going Places or "Hurricane" logo, the others being 510 and 508. Although some units may still retain their candy cane stripes on shortlines, FEC 511 is the last of its kind on the FEC roster.
