The heritage of CIT Equipment Finance Corporation SD60 6001 is fairly obvious – This engine is the former Soo Line 6001. SOO 6001 was built by EMD in July 1987, and was found on May 17, 2007, in BNSF Railway’s Watson Yard in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
