Remarks & Notes

Although long rebuilt by EMD Madison railroads number 5 still has that Baldwin appearance. Built in 1943 for the NC&StL it would later work for the L&N before eventually working for a naval ordinance plant in southern Indiana. Today it's painted in a scheme honoring veterans who served in our armed forces.
