On the former Interstate Railroad, Norfolk Southern train U40 is moving out of the west end of Andover Yard at Andover, Virginia with empty coal hoppers and a caboose on the rear of the train. Once the train is on the mainline, The train will make a reverse move through the yard and downtown Appalachia, Virginia until is clears the connection to the St. Charles Branch. The train will then head out on the branch to Mayflower, Virginia where the cars will be set out the for future loading.
