| The 4-6-2 express train steamlocomotive 01 # 180 was built in 1936 by Henschel/Kassel for the Deutsche Reichsbahn and got a new, larger boiler ("Neubaukessel") in 1960 by the Deutsche Bundesbahn. Withdrawn in 1973, purchased privat and brought to Bowil in Switzerland in 1975. In 2011 purchased by the Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum (BEM) and made operational again since 2014, based in N?rdlingen. The locomotive is leaving the shed area of the BEM on the occasion of the first railway event N?rdlingen. |
