A strange visitor to the MBTA/Keolis "Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility" (aka BET), PAR 1 sits silently on Storage West. This EMD FP9A was built in September 1954 as CN 6505, and also worked for VIA Rail, Conway Scenic Railroad and most recently Pan Am Railways. This locomotive is reminiscent of the MBTA Paduach F10s that used to roam the system until the mid-90s. As of today, June 1, 2022, Pan Am Railways has been absorbed into the CSX systems.
