The Elusive Georgia Woodlands. A good friend and I headed out the day after Memorial Day to see if we could track down the Georgia Woodlands operating, thinking that it would be working trains that built up over the holiday weekend. We were rewarded for our efforts to find them running from Washington to the CSX Interchange at Barnett to deliver and pick up cars. Led by the recently obtained GP9 in Winchester & Western colors, here the train crosses the Little River just south of Washington.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
