| The elegant 4-6-0 fourcylinder compound express train steamlocomotive A 3/5 # 705, built by SLM in 1904, on long term loan from SBB Historic to the steam group Zürich (VDZ Verein Dampfgruppe Zürich), made the first public trip after the large revision. The locomotive is pulling the ZRT Bahnreisen/RailEvent round trip from Singen (Hohentwiel)/Germany to Etzwilen, crossing the 25 meter high and 254 meter long Rhine bridge of Hemishofen. The ship "Thurgau" of the Schiffahrtsgesellschaft Untersee und Rhein (URh) make the course 550 from Kreuzlingen via Stein am Rhein to Schaffhausen (Time optimization by 3 minutes). |
