| A CSX rail train rolls around the curve of where the old Chapperal Coal Company once stood several years ago along The Big Sandy outside of Pikeville. At one time, this site was owned by former Kentucky Governor Paul E Patton who was also owner of several mines within Pike County. In a matter of a few more bends, this train will be on the doorsteps of Shelby Yard. |
