Built as a C&O GP40, bought from CSX, rebuilt (minus 4 cylinders) to haul commuters on VRE and now, shorn of some components, back handling freight in Georgia’s southwest corner this unit is a great example of EMD modularity. A really challenge for diesel spotters.
