Sitting in BNSF Railway’s Murray Yard is BNSF SD40-2 1889. This locomotive, which features the 123" "snoot nose," was built by EMD in October 1979 as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 5114, which later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6798. (North Kansas City, Missouri – June 17, 2022)
