Wrong Yard!
Car number 2390 is seen bringing up the rear of a mixed train of BMT AB Standards and IND R1-9 "Arnines" entering 38th St Yard. This was an exceptionally unusual move - and a chance for passengers to pick up some very rare mileage - as 38th St Yard does not handle revenue service cars. Instead, the yard is the base for all B Division work trains, housing everything from locomotives, flat cars, and crane cars, to tank cars and refuse trains.
