Major renovations and track work around Union Station have shut the CTRail/Amtrak Hartford Line (New Haven - Springfield Corridor) to passenger traffic this summer, from July 18 - September 9. As part of the work, a LORAM unit approaches the Asylum Bridge just south of the station on a hot morning.
