The Beauty of Passenger Geeps: When Comet V Cab Car NJT 6071 was deemed unable to lead eastward from Port Morris Yard to Hoboken during the overnight hours, a typical solution to the problem was fashioned: putting a geep on the leading end, long hood forward. It is such common problems like these that make the veteran geep type locomotives valuable as they afford an easy solution to keeping the railroad running.
