| Cogwheel steamlocomotives 0-8-0 T HG 4/4 # 704 (built in 1932 by SLM for Indochina) and 0-4-2 T HG 2/3 # 6 "Weisshorn" (built in 1902 by SLM for the Visp-Zermatt-Bahn) of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke are on the warm-up run through the gorge of the Furkareuss near Realp. The # 704 pulled train 133 afterwards over the Furka pass to Gletsch, # 6 the train 1135 from Realp to Tiefenbach. This weekend, the DFB celebrated 120 years of steamlocomotive # 6 and 30 years of operation from Realp to Tiefenbach. |
