| CSXT 412 accelerates across the Pinkerton's Landing Bridge (after waiting for a crew to complete some track-work on the single-track bridge), heading into the rain as it proceeds west towards Pittsburgh. You can see the preserved Carrie Blast Furnaces in the background, a rusty landmark to the industry that earned Pittsburgh it's nickname...The Steel City. 412 is Pittsburgh's area code, and it just seems fitting to capture this unit in front of an iconic piece of the city's history. |
