Remarks & Notes

A westbound New York & Atlantic freight train bound for Fresh Pond rumbles through Merillon Avenue station of the recently triple tracked Long Island Rail Road Main Line. Judging by the short consist of gondolas loaded with recyclables this train probably originated on the Central Branch rather than NY&A's Pine Aire yard.
