Remarks & Notes

Originally built for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway in September of 1952, Canton Railroad's pair of GP7R's have reached the end of the line, as they don't meet current EPA standards. Having been replaced with a pair of Knoxville Locomotive Works switchers, these old work horses have been stripped of any reusable parts and await on site scrapping.
