| In front of the mighty Matterhorn (4478 meter a.s.l.) two brandnew coupled cogwheel trains POLARIS of the Gornergratbahn (GGB) are running up from Zermatt to the Gornergrat, between Riffelalp and Riffelberg. Bhe 4/6 # 3092 and 3093 were built by StadlerRail in 2022 and designed by Pininfarina. On the right are Dent Blanche (4358 m), Obergabelhorn (4073 m) and Wellenkuppe (3903 m). |
