"Spam Cans" at Sedgwick.
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) 6000-Series no. 6711 (St. Louis Car Co., 1950-1959) is seen with its mate entering Sedgwick Station on the Brown and Purple Lines. The CTA's historic fleet is maintained at Skokie Shops and thus the vintage trains were headed back there after the 75th Anniversary event. Given the early afternoon light, Sedgwick and Sheridan stations were the possible options for capturing the return moves given their east-west layout on the otherwise north-south North Side Main Line, with the former being an obvious choice for its proximity to the loop.
