| Amtrak's Southwest Chief races off from the station stop at La Plata. An odd mid-April snow storm in northern Missouri has everything coated in white. #3 left Chicago less than 5 hours ago and is over 300 miles into their on-time trip. 90 mph trackage across the Marceline Sub helps keep the blistering 60+ mph average. |
