| An eastbound UP freight train rolls by on the high iron as Frontier Cooperative's GP7 shoves a cut of loaded hopper cars down the elevator track in North Bend, NE on a frosty January morning. The GP7 was built in 1951. What do you think the disposition of all those modern locomotives will be in 50 years? I hope the old EMD outlasts them all. |
