On the morning of September 30th, 2022, Port Bienville Railroad GP38-3 #2039 (ex-BPRR 2039, née CO 3880) is seen towing a handful of loaded hoppers over the scale track at the Port Bienville Industrial Park in Bay St. Louis, MS.
The Port Bienville Railroad (PBVR) is a class III shortline owned and operated by the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission on the southeastern corner of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The railroad is mainly tasked with servicing a variety of major on-site customers and storing large amounts of railcars within the 3,600-acre Port Bienville Industrial Park.
