      Remarks & Notes
BNSF Railway's Transcon doesn’t really cross the whole North American continent, but it crosses at least two-thirds of it. And this train, BNSF Q-CHISTO3-30, is making that journey, having originated in Chicago and heading for Stockton, California – 2000+ miles. (And this intermodal train is itself 15,580-feet in length, or just under 3 miles!) BNSF ES44DC 7836 and three Dash 9-44CWs (4420, 5102 and 793) are in charge of moving all these containers from the Midwest to the far west. (Valentine, Arizona – November 4, 2022)
