Walking outside of the house and on my commute today today, the conditions certainly reminded me of this moment in the last days of 2020.
Although I am certainly not a fan of dark, dreary conditions, there is something to be said about the mood they create.
This is what I believe to be Norfolk Southern train 13R crossing the Potomac River trestle from Maryland into West Virginia. This is a place that I hold close to my heart, with so many memories here in a wide variety of conditions and with many people.
I was pretty reluctant to take the time to get the drone going for this shot given the conditions. "You miss every shot you don't take" They say. Looking back, it's one of my favorite drone shots of all time. This was also my last railroad shot taken with my Mavic Pro before I upgraded to a Mavic Air 2
