| Although now owned by RJ Corman, the Luzerne and Susquehanna is a local short line servicing several customers southwest of Scranton, PA. Today the crew tag teams switching the industries around Langdon with 2 crews. One crew switches plastic hoppers while another crew switches the chemical distributor at Commerce rd behind me. Being in eastern PA means there is very little flat, level trackage. The line operates push-pull style with a locomotive on each end as the job navigates a few see-saws to reach all of their customers. |
