| Fireman Bruno U. on the 4-6-0 fourcylinder compound express train steamlocomotive A 3/5 # 705 of SBB Historic, built in 1904 by the SLM in Winterthur. The locomotive runs extremely smoothly at an instantaneous speed of around 90 km/h on the Thurtal mainline near Amriswil on the return trip from Romanshorn to Brugg AG, the maximum speed is 100 km/h. The association steam group Zürich (VDZ Verein Dampfgruppe Zürich) made a more then 3 years large overhaul and this was the final test and celebration run for the people which worked for and donators. |
