Knoxville Locomotive Works KLWX 1998 is parked on a small spur track just west of the Rural Hall depot on the Yadkin Valley Railroad. After seeing a lone Yadkin Valley diesel unit parked next to the depot, I decided to ignore my GPS and turned left on Broad Street to head back to the freeway. About a mile west of the depot, I had to do a double take as I saw the KLWX 1998 sitting on the spur track. I had no idea it was in Rural Hall.
