Like fresh from the factory! The association Depot und Schienenfahrzeuge Koblenz (DSF) took over the Re 4/4 II # 11173 (Re 420 # 173) of the SBB, which was never fitted with a cab climatisation, on august 15th, 2020 from SBB Cargo. With 273 units, the Re 4/4 II locomotives formed the largest locomotive series ever procured by SBB. They were delivered between 1964 and 1985 by SLM, BBC, MFO and SAAS. The locomotive # 11173 was delivered to the SBB on september 25th, 1970. Now, the locomotive in the classic fir green paint scheme, new painted in the BLS workshop of B?nigen, is on the inauguration run from Zürich via Thalwil-Pf?ffikon SZ-Rapperswil-Bauma-Winterthur-Bülach to Koblenz.
