| Amtrak 6 is blazing through the moon-like landscape of the Utah desert at Floy, running along the impenetrable fortress that is the Book Cliffs while thunderstorms hammer areas to the west closer to Green River. It's no wonder the next siding is aptly named "Solitude", but there is a certain enchantment to the area's wide open spaces and other-worldly terrain. |
