| APRES-SKI-BAR bar car Bp # 4027 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn in the rear of regional train R 831 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn from Disentis to Andermatt, near the Oberalppass. The car had been built by Breda and SIG in 1993 for the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn as a panorama car for the Glacier Express trains and was converted into a bar car in 2018 on the initiative of Egyptian investor Samih Sawiris to promote the new Andermatt-Sedrun ski area. The exterior design was done by Patrick Wehrli and Alex Hohl with the spray can. Second rebuilt car in red is Bp # 4028. Both cars are added to the timetabled regional trains between Andermatt and Disentis during the ski season. |
