"Preparing to Take Flight"

Frontier Industrial Corp and Tristate Crane crews work together to hoist Long Island Rail Road Budd M3 #9848 in the air for truck removal and flatcar loading at Maspeth Yard in Queens, NY.

On the morning of April 24th, 2022, six M3 railcars (9847/9848, 9773/9774 & 9813/9814) were placed onto the Navy Lead in Maspeth Yard (Nicholls Siding) where they were detrucked and loaded onto flatcars by Frontier Industrial Corp for transport to Ohio for scrap.
