    Remarks & Notes
NORMAN OK (February) 1986 — Santa Fe SF30C 9506 leads a southbound TOFC train as it approaches the East Boyd Street crossing. This train is probably No. 185. GE delivered the unit as U36C 8731 in March 1973. As part of the SF30C rebuild program the Santa Fe shops in Cleburne Texas re-built the unit in October 1985 as 9506. My photo.

Aside from Warbonnets and Chiefs, Santa Fe was a workaday railroad like any other. This album showcases that less glamorous--but no less vital--side of the famous ATSF.
