Steam locomotives advanced dramatically during the early 20th century. This is Great Eastern Railway Y-14 class No. 564 at Kelling Heath on the North Norfolk Railway.
Built in 1912, the look of steam new build locomotives changed enormously in the following 20 years, although this class continued tin traffic until the end of UK mainline steam 1960s.
