| ATI 02 is returning to the Breckenridge plant after shuffling cars at the nearby Natrona facility. Allegheny Technologies, or ATI, has an operation that focuses on the production of stainless and specialty steels and is one of the few steel mills still in operation in the Pittsburgh area. Their mills in Natrona and Brackenridge are separated by about a mile of residential neighborhood. The small fleet of Republic RX500 locomotives handle all of the shuffling between them. |
