Looking like a Zephyr streaking through northern Illinois on the C&I, or maybe across Iowa farmland on the Q main line, is Chicago, Burlington & Quincy EMD E5 No. 9911-A and the Nebraska Zephyr Budd-built streamliner trainset. On September 30, 1993, the classy Zephyr from Illinois Railway Museum’s collection made a somewhat uncommon off-site trip for an ARM convention running on the Wisconsin Central main line from Burlington (Wisconsin) to Neenah and return, and is running past the marshes at Theresa Station in this afternoon view.
