The heart of coal country is Alliance Yard in northwestern Nebraska. This is where coal trains can head east towards Lincoln, NE, and points east, or south towards Denver and points south. Empty trains are assembled for loaded in the PRB. Lots goes on here with inspections and power. Here we have a Union Electric Machens, MO, bound load pulling towards East Alliance for crew change and service.
