New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R33 no. 9207 (St. Louis Car Co., 1962-1963) is seen laid up with its train on the middle track at 161st St-Yankee Stadium Station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line, while R142 no. 1121 (Bombardier, 1999-2003) arrives with a Manhattan-bound 4 train. The R33 "SMEE" train operated a NY Transit Museum special for the Yankees home opener, along with a 4-car train of Lo-V cars seen far in the background.
