| After a 20-hour shutdown for a winter storm, the KYLE was back to business Thursday westbound towards Limon. Here the crew snakes over the grade between at Levant as the crew does their work on the Phillipsburg Sub. Thursday was good for us as the train moved 55 miles in 6 hours. Unfortunately overnight wouldn't be as good as the train would move 20 miles in 13 hours with 2 crews onboard, and 50 miles on Friday before the crew tied down for the evening at Seibert. Blazing 125 miles in 30 hours. |
