In March of 2019 I was part of a group of volunteers from the North Carolina Transportation Museum that went down to the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, GA to help prepare one of the last surviving FT-B locomotives for transport to its new home at the NCTM in Spencer, NC. We spent a few days working to weld body panels, replace brake lines, clean brake cylinders, and various other items. I was glad I had my camera along to capture volunteer Glenn Weyant as he worked to secure loose body panels and prep the unit for transport
