124 car loads of Rawhide Mine, WY coal are bound for Halsted, TX as they slowly traverse the Palmer Divide near Larkspur, CO. Four, six-axle locomotives battle the one to 1.4% grade of the northern slope of the divide where coal trains get down to single digit speeds as they inch towards the 7200' summit at Palmer Lake.
