The fourcylinder compound 2-10-0 Gotthard freight train steamlocomotive C 5/6 # 2978 "Elephant" of SBB Historic, based in Brugg AG, is crossing the Rümlinger viaduct on the old Hauenstein line Olten-L?ufelfingen-Sissach with a public train from Olten to Sissach. The 25 meter high and 128 meter long stone arch viaduct was built between 1856 and 1857 by the Schweizerische Centralbahn and is one of the oldest railway viaduct of Switzerland still in original appearance. The viaduct was built for doubletrack, the second track was removed in 1938, as it was no longer necessary after the construction of the Hauenstein base line.
